Energy efficient light bulbs – the traditional light bulbs have a date of death. As reported lanacion.com, the Government took a decision which for 2011 incandescent lamps will market and will be replaced by low – energy alternatives.
The campaign to force migration to energy saving lamps began some years ago, because of the overload of the energy efficient light bulbs system. Before long, the supply of fluorescent and halogen lamps grew, and information about its advantages as well. However, the price (between 3 and 4 times more expensive than incandescent light bulbs) was a determining factor for mass adoption. Now, as stated in the resolution of the Government, while making traditional lamps is prohibited, local production and importation of variants low consumption will be encouraged.
Today, almost all types of lamps have their version of low consumption, including halogen. These lamps are designed to replace conventional of all kinds, respecting their measures and type of plug for easy replacement, without switching artifacts. Its advantages are clear: a compact energy efficient light bulbs spends consumption 20W giving the same light as an incandescent 100W, and lasts eight times longer (the incandescent bulb has a lifespan of thousand hours), which depreciates its cost.
